Tolle Neuigkeiten - Vol. II

Heute darf ich euch schon wieder etwas super schönes verraten (ich hab im Moment aber auch Glück) :)
Ich bin von der lieben Carolin für November als Gastdesignerin für die Stempelküche-Challenge ausgewählt worden.

Das freut mich natürlich total, schließlich ist die Stempelküche einer meiner absoluten Lieblings-Stempel-Onlineshops :)

Am 12. November darf ich das erste Mal eine Karte zu einer neuen Challenge beitragen, und ich würde mich freuen, wenn Ihr dann auch dabei sein würdet!

It's me again and today I have another great news to share with you!
I was honoured by the wonderful Carolin to be a guest designer for the Stempelküche-Challenge in November! I was absolutely thrilled and of course I couldn't say no!
The Stempelküche (which means stamp kitchen in English) online shop is one of my favorite out there :)

At November 12th the first challenge with one of my cards starts, and I really hope that some of you will join the fun, too!

Hallo :)

Heute habe ich mal keine Karte für euch, sondern eine Pillow Box ;) und wieder ist es ein Projekt mit meinen neuen Sachen von Create a Smile, denn ich möchte damit gerne auch beim Guest Designer Call mitmachen.

Dafür habe ich ein Blatt Papier mit meinen Distress Stains gefärbt und anschließend mit der Puzzle-Stencil von Create a Smile und Wasser einen Wasserabdruck gemacht (leider sieht man es auf den Fotos schlecht, am besten sieht man es auf dem letzten Fotos).

Anschließend habe ich die süssen kleinen Herz- und Pfeilstempel über das Papier gestempelt.

Ich finde die Box ist ganz hübsch geworden, was meint ihr?

I'm back today with something little bit different - no card :) And it's also a Create a Smile Stamp project again, which I'd like to link to the Guest Designer Call at Create a Smile Stamps.
For the pillow box I colored my cardstock with several Distress Stains. Then I put the Create a Smile Puzzle Stencil wet onto the cardstock, to get a cool watermark effect. You can't see it that good at the pictures, but it is the best at the last one. At last I stamped so small hearts and arrows onto the cardstock. I quite this cute little box, what do you think?

hier bin ich auch mal wieder :)

Immer noch alles ein bisschen stressig hier, aber was hilfts?

Diese Woche ist meine erste Bestellung bei Create a Smile Stamps angekommen - zwei Stempelsets und zwei Stencils.

Da Christine und ihr Designteam ja aktuell auch noch Unterstützung für Dezember suchen, habe ich mich auch gleich fleißig ans Werk gemacht. Ich hab mich entschlossen, soweit wie möglich ab sofort nur noch Weihnachtskarten zu machen, damit ich meinen Bestand für dieses Jahr ein bisschen auf Vordermann bringen kann.

So, als ich dann so meine neuen Schätze betrachtet hab, bin ich auf die Idee gekommen, die süßen Tierchen aus den Sternen der Schablone gucken zu lassen. Ich habe dafür auf die Schablone gestempelt, dann die Motive abgeklebt und mit verschiedenen Distress Inks geblendet. Leider sieht man die Wasserspritzer nicht so gut, die ich gemacht habe.

Ich mag die Karte gerne, die Idee gefällt mir gut ;)

Welcome back, hope you had a great week! Mine was quite stressful again, but ok.

This week my first order at Create a Smile Stamps arrived. I've ordered 2 stamp sets and 2 stencils and I'm really happy about it. Christine and her team are searching a guest designer for December, so I had to make a project out of the new stuff to give it a try ;)

So for this card, I wanted to get all the sweet critters into the stars of the stencil. So I stamped the critters into the biggest stars, masked them and blended several distress inks above it.

I have to say I like what came out, what do you think?

Ich bin ab sofort im Designteam von "Challenge up your life" - ich freu mich so :)

Challenge up your life gabs bereits früher, pausierte dann eine zeitlang und ist ab 01. November wieder da!
Jeden zweiten Samstag gibts eine neue Challenge, in der Ihr eure Kreativität unter Beweis stellen könnt.

today I have some great news, because I'm going to be part of the new "Challenge up your life" Designteam!

I'm so happy about it!

Challenge up your life (CUYL) took place already a few years ago, then got a break and now its back from November 1st! Every second Saturday we'll serve you with a new challenge, where you can show all your creativity!

Please also have a look at the other Designteam girl, they are just such wonderful talented girls!

The scent of cookies and christmas

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

leider konnte ich die letzte Woche hier gar nix zeigen, das lag zum einen daran, dass es gerade beruflich + privat recht stressig ist, zum anderen gibt es ein paar Sachen, die ich euch noch nicht zeigen kann. Dazu werdet ihr aber in den nächsten Tagen mehr erfahren - ich bin ja schon sooo aufgeregt :)

Diese Karte mag ich richtig gerne, sie ist durch das Blending ein bisschen Vintage-angehaucht, und die tolle Tim Holtz-Stencil ist auch klasse.

so sorry I wasn't able to show you something new the whole week, one reason is there's actual so much to do at work as well as in my private life, the other thing is that there are a few projects I just can't show you at the moment -  but you'll see just in a few days (I'm so excited right now :-))
I really like today's card, looks a bit vintage because of the brown blending, and the Tim Holtz stencil is just gorgeous, isn't it?

Birthday Invitations

Hey alle zusammen,

die letzten Tage war ich ziemlich viel beschäftigt, unter anderem mit einem "Auftrag" meiner liebsten Freundin :). Ich sollte für den Geburtstag ihrer Oma Einladungskarten werkeln. Die Vorgabe war rosa / rot + Blumen.

Da baten sich meine noch recht neuen Stempel von Wplus9 natürlich an, sie haben einfach ganz wunderbare Blumenmotive, die man alle perfekt kombinieren kann. gestempelt hab ich mit so ziemlich allen rot/rosa/lila Tönen, die ich gefunden habe :). Die Zahl hab ich mit den neuen Lawn Cuts "Finley's 123s" gestanzt.

Die Karten dürfen auch bei der aktuellen "Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes" Challenge mitmachen, schließlich geht es dabei ja auch um einen Geburtstag.

Ich hoffe ihr hattet ein bisschen Spaß und schaut bald mal wieder vorbei!

I was quite busy last days, amongst others because I had an order of one of my loveliest friends, to make a few invitation cards for her grandma's birthday. The wish was to get cards in pink/red colors and with some flowers. So that was the perfect chance to try out my new Wplus9 stamps, because they just have the most beautiful blossoms and the sets are matching so great together. I just almost all inks I have in pink/red/purple tones. For the numbers, I used the new Lawn Fawn "Finley's 123s" dies. The sentiment says "Invitation for a 75th (birthday).

These cards also take part at the actual "Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes" Challenge, because its also a birthday theme.

Male birthday

Diese Karte ist etwas anders als die anderen sonst. Sie ist sehr einfach und auch ein bisschen grafisch, ich habe nur verschiedenes Farben Cardstock zurecht geschnitten und aufeinander geklebt, dann noch ein bisschen gestempelt, Twine dazu und fertig ist eine schlichte Geburtstagskarte, die auch gut für einen Mann funktionieren würde.

Today's card is a little bit different from the others I used to show you here. This one is quite simple and a little bit of grafic styled. I just cut some sheets of colored cardstock and get it together, then just stamped the sentiment (German for "Today's your birthday + let us celebrate) and added some twine.
A card is finished which would also look awesome as a male birthday card I think.
So have fun and have a good time!

Rainbow hooray

Ich bins mal wieder :)

Heute mag ich euch eine wunderbar bunte Karte zeigen. Dafür habe ich eine sehr feine Schablone von Memory Box verwendet, und dazu gaaaanz viele verschiedene Distress Inks. Anschließend hab ich noch mit ein bisschen Wasser gespritzt, aber das sieht man auf dem Foto leider fast nicht. Die Chevrons habe ich mehrere Male ausgestanzt und dadurch einen schönen 3D-Effekt erreicht. Der Spruch ist aus einem Klartext-Stempelset und die tollen Seifenblasen sind von Winnie & Walter.

Seifenblasen und Regenbogen - gibts was schöneres? :)

It's me again and today I like to show you a very colorful card. I used a stencil from Memory Box and many of my Distress Inks. After that I sprinkled some water oder the card but unfortunately you can't see it very good at the photo. Then I used a die to cut the chevrons and layered them to get a nice 3d effect. The sentiment is from the German stamp company called Klartext and the soap bubbles are from Winnie & Walter.

So soap bubbles and rainbows - can you imagine something more beautiful? :)

Hey Ihr Lieben,

wow, ich konnte es wirklich gaaar nicht erwarten, bis meine neueste Stempelküche-Bestellung angekommen ist (OK, ich gebs zu, das ist immer so). Die neuen Mama Elephant Stempelsets "Carnival Cupcakes" und "CarnivalToppers" sind einfach unfassbar süß!!

Die erste Karte davon seht ihr hier. Den Hintergrund habe ich mit vielen verschiedenen Distress-Inks geblendet, obwohl leider der Übergang von orange auf grün-blau in meinem Kopf besser funktioniert hat.

Die Stickles auf dem rosa Topping passen einfach perfekt, was meint ihr?

wow, I really couldn't wait to get my latest Stempelküche (a great German Online Shop) arrived (OK, to be honest, thats always the same)

The new Mama Elephant release ""Carnival Cupcakes" and "Carnival Toppers" are just unbelievable sweet.

This is the first card I made with those sets. For the background, I've blended several Distress Inks, although the change from orange into green-blue worked much better in my head :)

But the stickles I used on the pink topping are just perfect, don't you think so?

Für diese Karte hier habe ich den Hintergrund mit Distress Stains in Regenbogenfarben gestaltet, und dann eine Blumenschablone darübergelegt und mit Wasser gespritzt - naja, das muss ich irgendwie noch üben ;)

Die Karte ist sonst total einfach gehalten, ein Distel-Stempel von Paper Artsy und ein Sentiment von Mama Elephant.

For today's card I created a background using my Distress Stains in rainbow colors. After that I took a flower stencil and sprayed it with water - OK, I have to try and practice that again ;)

The rest is quite simple, just a thistle-stamp by Paper Artsy and a sentiment from Mama Elephant.

Bike birthday

Letztens hatte mein Papa Geburtstag, da musste natürlich eine Karte her. Mit Fahrrad versteht sich, er liebt das radeln einfach. Ich hab dazu das Rad vom Lawn Fawn set "Crusing through life" gestempelt, allerdings ohne Korb, und dafür das Licht gezeichnet. Für den Hintergrund habe ich eine neue Stencil von MFT verwendet und mit Distress Inks eingefärbte Embossing Paste.
Ich hoffe ihr hattet Spass und schaut bald mal wieder vorbei.

For my dad's birthday I had to make a card with a bike, because he just loves to cycle around. So I stamped the bike from Lawn Fawn's "Crusing through life", but without the basket, and added instead the light. The background was made with a new stencil from MFT and some Embossing paste, which I've colored with blue Distress Inks.

This card takes part at the actual "Stempelküche Challenge", the topic is "Stencil", so keep you're fingers crossed for me :)

Oh happy day

Heute habe ich eine Karte für euch, die ich einfach so zum Spaß gemacht habe. Ich denke sie würde gut als Hochzeitskarte funktionieren.

Ich habe dafür aus verschiedenen Papieren von Lawn Fawn kleine Fähnchen gestanzt (mit der Journaling Card Die). Die Wolke und den Spruch habe ich in weiß auf Vellum embosst. Der Hintergrund ist mit verschiedenen blauen Distress Inks und vieeel Wasser entstanden.

Ich hoffe Ihr hattet Spaß + machts gut!

I die cut the little banners from several Lawn Fawn pattern papers (using Stitched Journaling dies) and white embossed the cloud and the sentiment on vellum. 

The background was made from different blue Distress Inks and much water :)
