Hey ihr,

hier bin ich wieder mit einer neuen Karte, mit den witzigen "Little Cat Agenda" von Mama Elephant. Ich habe einige für den Hintergrund gestempelt und dann auch noch zwei mit Copics coloriert.

Die "Happy" Stanze habe ich aus grauem Foam gestanzt. Die Buchstaben Stempel sind von Hero Arts.

today I'm back showing you a simple card using "little cat agenda" by Mama Elephant. I stamped a few of the cats for the background and also colored two with Copics. For the "happy" die cut, I used grey foam. The ABC stamps are by Hero Arts.

Oldie but Goldie - Around we go feat. Mama Elephant

Hallo alle Zusammen,

heute gibt's eine Karte mit super schönen Stempeln von Mama Elephant, die zwar schon eine Zeit lang bei mir wohnen, aber bisher leider noch nie benutzt wurden (Schande, aber leider sind es bei weitem nicht die einzigen....)

Die geniale Pamela Ho hat hier mal eine wunderschöne Karte mit dem Riesenrad aus dem Set gezeigt, an die ich denken musste, als ich meine Karte gemacht habe. Für den Hintergrund habe mehrere Distress Inks ineinander geblendet, und dann die Motive mit Brilliance Black gestempelt. Im Nachhinein wäre wohl Versafine Onyx Black die bessere Wahl gewesen, dann wäre das schwarz noch intensiver und deckender - naja danach ist man ja immer schlauer :P

Besonders mag ich den goldenen Streifen und die gerundete linke Seite der Karte, die habe ich mit einer Stanze von Pretty Pink Posh gemacht.

today I'd like to show you a card using some super pretty stamps by Mama Elephant, which were living already some time at my home, but haven't been used until now (shame on me, but to be honest, this stamp set is by far not the only one).

The unbelievable creative Pamela Ho showed here a wunderful pretty card using the stamp set "around we go", and when I made this card, I had to think on hers.
I used Brilliance Black ink for stamping the images, but I think Versafine Onyx would have been the better choice for a crisp black image...

I especially like the rounded edge of the card and the golden strip, I think it is just the right finishing touch :)

Colorful flower bouquet feat. Concord & 9th

Hey Ihr Lieben!

Endlich kann ich hier mal wieder eine Karte zeigen! Mich hat letzte Woche eine absolut fiese Erkältung niedergestreckt, sodass ich wirklich nicht aus dem Bett gekommen bin :(

Mittlerweile bin ich zum Glück auf dem Weg der Besserung und hoffe wirklich, dass das krankheitstechnisch für das Jahr reicht...

Ok, jetzt aber zur Karte ;)

Ich habe dafür wieder das heiß geliebte "Hello Lovely" Set von Concord and 9th benutzt, und den Hintergrund mit Brusho Wasserfarben gestaltet. Dann habe ich die Blüten und Blätter zusätzlich noch mit Zig Clean Color Real Brushes bemalt, um sie noch besser hervorzuheben. Der Spruch ist von Altenew (Label Love German).

Ich hoffe ihr hattet Spaß!

Sorry for the break here, but a really bad cold forced me into bed for the whole last week :(

Now I'm finally on the way of recovery (and hope SOO that this was enough illness for the whole year!)

Ok, but today, I finally want to show you a new card :)

I made this beauty using the gorgeous Concord & 9th stamp set "Hello Lovely" (which I absolutely love) and for the background, I used different Brusho watercolor powders and water. For the finishing touch, I colored the flowers and leaves using Zig Clean Color Real Brushes. The sentiment is again from Altenew's "Label Love German".

flowers on kraft feat. Concord & 9th

heute zeige ich euch eine Karte, die ich mit dem wunderbaren Set "Hello Lovely" von Concord & 9th gemacht habe. Ich lieeeebe schöne Blumen Stempel und den hier find ich ganz besonders schön ;)

Für die Karte habe ich das Bild auf Kraft Cardstock gestempelt und mit Copics coloriert. Für ein paar Akzente habe ich einen weißen Gelstift benutzt. Der Spruch ist von Altenew (Label Love German).

I'm back again today with a card using the absolutely gorgeous "Hello Lovely" stamp set. I love beautiful flower bouquet stamp sets, and so for sure I adore this one.

I stamped the image onto same kraft cardstock and colored it using Copics. For some highlights, I used a white gelpen. The sentiment is by Altenew from the stamp set "Label Love German" stamp set.

To finish the card, I just added some stichting lines using dies by Paper smooches and adhered the panel onto a soft green card base.

clean and simple feat. Paper Smooches

Hallo zusammen, 

da bin ich wieder mit einer ganz schlichten CAS Karte mit ganz viel weiß. Ich liebe diese Karten, tu mich aber oft schwer, selbst eine zu machen. Aber mit den wunderbaren Stanzen von Paper Smooches klappt das ganz leicht. Ich hatte noch Reste eines bunt geblendeten Papiers übrig, daraus habe ich die Blumen ausgestanzt, und die Stanzteile mit weißem Cardstock hinterlegt.

Ich schicke die Karte für die Gastdesigner Suche von Paper Smooches für März ins Rennen - drückt mir die Daumen!

today I have a pretty CAS card for you. I love these super simple white cards, but I often struggle with creating these by myself... But with these wonderful Paper Smooches flower dies, it is quite simple :) I used a colorful blended paper, for cutting out the flowers. I layered them with white cardstock.
This card takes part at the March guest designer search by Paper Smooches! Wish me luck! :)

Ich habe sie diesmal mit Ranger Liquid Platinum embosst und dann mit Copics coloriert.

Dazu ein paar passende Sequins, und schon wieder fertig!

Watercolor Flowers feat. Wplus9

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

ich glaub es selber kaum, ich poste heute seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit 

(und in Realität nach mehr als einem halben Jahr) mal wieder eine Karte!

2016 war besonders in der zweiten Jahreshälfte extrem anstrengend und kräftezehrend, ich habe meinem Schreibtisch nur noch aus der Ferne gekannt...

Aber gut, genug gejammert - 2017 wird vieeeel besser! :)

Ich habe ein paar fertig Karten hier noch rumliegen, die ich euch bei Gelegenheit demnächst zeigen mag.

Ich hoffe es geht euch allen gut und ein paar von euch können sich auch noch an mich erinnern :)

2016 was enormous stressful and hard, but I really hope that 2017 is going to be much better!

A new card

Hey there, 

today I'm back with a new sweet card for you :)

But first, I'd like to show you my newest card, which I made for my Mom's birthday. I used the super sweet cats from MFT's I knead you, and I colored them with copics to make them look just like our own cats, Lucio (sleeping) and Nemo (sitting in the box).

For the background, I used distress inks and water, just like Laura Bassen showed on a few card in the past.

loose watercoloring feat. botanical bunch by Wplus9

Hey alle zusammen,

heute habe ich eine neue Karte für euch, die ich mit dem wunderschönen "Botanical Bunch" Stempelset von Wplus9 gestaltet habe.

Dafür habe ich das Motiv auf Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt und dann mit meinen Distress Inks die Motive und auch das Außenrum lose bemalt (loose watercoloring = wie heißt das denn richtig in deutsch??). Dann habe ich noch ein paar Sprenkler mit den Wasserfarben und auch mit dem tollen Irresistible Texture Spray von Tsukineko ein paar Spritzer gemacht.

Der Spruch ist aus einem Klartext-Stempelset. Für den finalen Touch gabs noch ein hübsches Twine von Jillibean Soup obendrauf.

Ich hoffe ihr habt Spaß mit den Bildern.

today I have a new card for you, featuring the beautiful "Botanical Bunch" Set by Wplus9.

I stamped the image onto some Tim Holtz watercolor paper, and then did some loose water coloring using my distress inks. After that I also added some sprinkles with the watercolors and the great Irresistible Spray by Tsukineko.

The sentiment stamp is by Klartext and says something like "We wish you an amazing day". For the finishing touch, I also added some twine by Jillibean Soup.

Challenge up your life #36 - die cutting

Hallo Ihr Lieben, 

es ist wieder soweit, heute startet eine neue Challenge bei Challenge up your life! Dieses Mal möchten wir gern gaaanz viele Die Cuts sehen! Zeigt uns, was ihr mit euren Stanzen alles tolles anstellt, wir sind gespannt!

Für meine Karte habe ich eine Filmstrip-Stanze von Kaiserkraft verwendet. Auch die süßen Tierchen von Paper Smooches habe ich mit den dazugehörigen Dies ausgestanzt. Ich bin ohne Stanzen wirklich komplett aufgeschmissen ;)

Ich hoffe ihr habt Spaß mit meiner Karte, vielleicht konnte ich euch ja auch ein kleines bisschen inspirieren :)

For my card, I used a filmstrip die by Kaiserkraft and I also die cut the sweet Paper Smooches animals by using the matching dies (as you know I would be such an idiot without my dies :) )

simple birthday fireworks feat. Mama Elephant

na alles gut bei euch? Das hoff ich doch! Ich habe diese Woche endlich mal wieder ein paar Karten für euch, die ich euch hier nach und nach zeigen werde :)

Zu allererst eine super-simple mit Stempeln von Mama Elephant, die ich wirklich hübsch finde, weil sie so schön "clean" ist.

Ich habe für den Hintergrund Distress Inks (Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire +  Seedless Preserves) ineinander geblendet.

Das Sentiment und das Feuerwerk habe ich mit Versafine Onyx Black gestempelt.

Ich hoffe euch gefällt das Ergebnis. Manchmal ist weniger einfach mehr :)

finally, I have a few Cards that I can share with you this week, and I'm going to start today with a really CAS-Beauty. I used stamps by Mama Elephant to create the Card.

For the Background, I blended several Distress Inks (Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire +  Seedless Preserves). I stamped the Sentiment and the fireworks using Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Really hope you like the result. Sometimes, less is just more :)
