snowy christmas feat. Purple Onion Designs

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

heute habe ich schon wieder eine Weihnachtskarte für euch. Dieses Mal habe ich einen Stempel von Purple Onion Designs ("Snow Trees" von Stacey Yacula) benutzt.

Ich habe ihn auf Aquarell Papier gestempelt und dann mit Masking Papier abgeklebt, damit ich den Hintergrund mit Distress Inks blenden konnte. Die Bäume selbst habe ich auch mit Distress Inks und Wasser bemalt. Als kleinen Eyecatcher habe ich noch den Weihnachtsmann mit seinen Rentieren von Lawn Fawn gestempelt :)

today I have another christmas card I'd love to show you! For this one, I used a Purple Onion Designs stamp called 'snowy trees' by the artist Stacey Yacula. I stamped the image on watercolor cardstock and then masked it off, so I could blend a pretty background using different Distress Inks. For the stars, I sprinkled some water onto it. I also colored the trees using Distress Inks and water.

As a little eyecatcher, I stamped Santa in his sleigh from Lawn Fawn's 'Ready Set Snow' stamp set onto the night sky.

The sentiment says something like 'Heavenly christmas'.

Challenge up your life #40 - Critters / Tierchen

Hey Ihr Lieben, 

juhu, es ist schon wieder soweit, eine neue Challenge bei Challenge up your life startet!

Unser Thema für die nächsten 1,5 Wochen lautet Tierchen, das heißt wir wollen von der Ameise bis zum Elefanten alles sehen was so kreucht und fleucht :)

Mich freut die Challenge ganz besonders, bin ich doch sowohl im wahren Leben als auch beim Stempeln ein sehr großer Tierfan.

Bei mir gibts dieses Mal nicht einfach eine Karte sondern eine Box Card, mit gaanz vielen Tieren von Lawn Fawn. Auch das Pattern Paper und die Stanze für die "2" ist von Lawn Fawn. Nur die beiden Geschenke habe ich aus einem Set von MFT stibitzt :)

Also, ich hoffe ihr zeigt uns wieder ganz fleißig eure Interpretationen des Themas, ich bin schon sehr gespannt!

today I'm back with my inspiration for the newest Challenge up your Life - Challenge! Our new topic is "Critters" and so we would like see all your projects featuring animals of any kind - from a little ant to  an elefant, just what you like :)
As you might know, I just love animals, wether in real life or when I'm on my craft table.
So I really like the topic and so I worked out a box card for a cute little girl with many many little critters from Lawn Fawn. I really like the flying bee and the bird, I have to admit :)

Seven Hills Crafts HAUL-Video February 2016

ich hoffe euch geht's allen ganz wunderbar :)
Heute habe ich was besonderes für euch dabei, nämlich ein HAUL Video :)

Ich habe Anfang Dezember bei Seven Hills Crafts (früher bekannt als Make the Day Special Stamp Store) aus Großbritannien eine Bestellung gemacht. Unter anderem habe ich auch ein paar Weihnachts-Artikel gekauft, da die Lieferung eigentlich ja auch noch vor Weihnachten bei mir angekommen wäre.
Leider sah das der deutsche Paketdienst anders, sodass das Paket nach einer europäischen Irrfahrt erst Ende Januar bei mir ankam - naja, Vorfreude ist ja angeblich die schönste Freude...

Naja, jedenfalls zeige ich euch hier das Video, ich hoffe ihr habt ein bisschen Spaß und lacht nicht über meine gefühlt 3-Millionen "ähms" und mein Englisch im allgemeinen :)

Today I've got something Special for you, I made a HAUL Video :)

I placed an order at Seven Hills Crafts (former known as Make the day Special craft store) in the UK at the beginning of December. Amongst other stuff, I ordered a few Christmas themed supplies, because normally, the order would have arrived before Christmas for sure. Unfortunately, the german delivery service didn't think so, and after an crazy trip through europe, it finally arrived at the end of January :)

Lawn Fawn Tags

Hallo Zusammen,

erst mal mag ich euch allen ein tolles, schönes, gesundes und natürlich auch kreatives neues Jahr 2016 wünschen! Ich hoffe ihr seid alle gut angekommen!

Im Weihnachtsurlaub gabs als Aperitiv ein paar mal einen ganz wunderbaren Zimt-Daiquiri, und als ich wieder daheim war musste ich gleich mal den dafür nötigen Zimtsirup ausprobieren. Falls es von euch jemand probieren möchte, hier das (super einfache) Rezept:

200g Zucker
250 ml Wasser
1 Zimtstange

Zucker im Topf leicht karamellisieren lassen, dann das Wasser dazu und wenn sich das Karamell wieder aufgelöst hat, die Zimtstange für ca. 20 Min. mitköcheln lassen - fertig :)

Den abgefüllten Sirup habe ich dann an Freunde und Verwandte verschenkt. Dazu habe ich die hübschen Tags mit verschiedenen Lawn Fawn Stempeln gezaubert.

first of all I really hope that you all arrived safe in 2016! I wish you all a very happy, healthy and for sure creative new year!

In our christmas holidays in 2015 I had a few times a really delicious drink, called Cinnamon Daiquiri. I really liked it, and so, back home, I need to make the necessary cinnnamon sirup by myself.

For those of you who like to know, here the (really simple) recipe:

200g sugar

250ml water

1 cinnamon stick

just heat the sugar until it begins to caramelize, then add the water and wait until the caramel is liquid again, Than add the cinnamon stick and let it about 20 minutes simmer.

I gave the bottled sirup to family and friends, and I a put a little tag on the bottles, which I created using several Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

This one I like really much :). I used the winter owl stamp by Lawn Fawn and colored the cutie with my Inktense watercolor pencils.

Challenge Up Your Life #26 - Monster

Hallo alle zusammen,

leider bin ich für die aktuelle Challenge ein bisschen spät dran, aber ein paar Tage läuft sie ja noch :)
Ich muss erst mal wieder in einen einigermaßen konstanten Post-Rhythmus kommen..

Uah, mit meiner Shaker-Karte hatte ich es diesmal wirklich nicht leicht.... Ich war noch nie die große "Technikerin" beim Karteln, aber diesmal hab ich mich wirklich angestellt als wäre das meine erste Shaker ever! Ganz schlimm.. naja, irgendwie hab ich sie dann doch noch fertigbekommen :)

So, jetzt aber, diese Challenge möchten wir gerne etwas monstermäßiges von euch sehen! Passend zum nahenden Halloween passt das doch :)

Ihr könnt noch bis Mittwoch, den 28. Oktober mitmachen! Schaut auch auf den Blogs der anderen Mädels vorbei, da gibts sicher wieder geniale Inspirationen!

Simple Girls night

Hey Ihr, 

da bin ich mal wieder mit einer ganz schlichten Karte. Sie ist komplett weiß, der Blickfang ist der Spruch. Ich habe die Karte einer lieben Freundin geschickt, weil wir zwei es viel zu selten schaffen, einen schönen Mädelsabend miteinander zu verbringen.

Ich habe hier wieder meinen heiß geliebten Moosgummi ausgestanzt und rundherum grün mit Copics bemalt.

Ich hoffe euch gefällt die Karte.

I'm back again with a really simple card I made for a dear friend. It's all white and the eye catcher is just the sentiment, which says "Girlsnight?".

Once again, I used foam for the letters and colored the borders in green.

I sent it to my friend, because we're both quite busy and it has been such a long time since our last girlsnight. Hope you like my simple card!

No Line Coloring featuring Lawn Fawn

Hey ihr Lieben!

Na wie gehts euch, ich hoffe ihr hattet einen guten Start in die neue Woche! Heute will ich euch eine kleine Tasche zeigen, die ich mit meiner neuen Lawn Fawn "Goodie Bag Die" gestanzt habe. Die Tüte soll eine kleine süße Maus namens Eva bekommen, also habe ich ihren Namen mit schönem Pattern Paper (auch Lawn Fawn :)) und den ABC Stanzen "Finleys ABC" gestanzt und auf der Rückseite aufgeklebt. Für die Vorderseite wollte ich die No Line Technik probieren. Naja, ich bin nicht super zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis, aber es ist OK. Kann ja nur besser werden :) Verwendet habe ich zum Colorieren meine Derwent Inktense Stifte.

Today I wanted to show you a sweet little bag, I've created some time ago using the "goodie bag die" by Lawn Fawn for the first time. I want to give this little bag to a sweet little baby girl called Eva, so I die cut her name out of some moon and star pattern paper (using Finley's ABC, which is just gorgeus!). For the front design, I wanted to try the no line technique. I'm not super happy with the result (I used my Derwent Inktense pencils for coloring) but I think its OK. Just can get better in the future! :)

Monster Birthday - Shaker Card Tutorial!

hier bin ich endlich auch mal wieder, aber heute mit echt was ganz besonderem!

Ich freue mich, euch heute endlich mein erstes Tutorial zu zeigen *wohooo*** :)

Also, habt ganz viel Spaß, ich hoffe, für den ein oder anderen ist was nützliches dabei, und haltet bitte trotz der vielen Fotos durch bis zum Schluss, erst da gibts nämlich die fertige Karte, und die ist es wert, sie ist echt süß.

Die Karte darf bei der aktuellen "Virgina's View Challenge" teilnehmen, da ist das Motto nämlich gerade Shaker Cards.

So, have fun, I really hope theres something somebody out there likes to see, and please, read this post til its end, because then you can see the finished card and its really a sweet one!

This card takes part at the actual "Virginia's View Challenge", it's topic is just perfect - Shaker Cards.

#2: Mit einem Bleistift die Sichtfenster aufmalen, dann Stempeln (erst die Hüte, die dann mit Masking Papier abkleben und dann das Monster (beim ersten habe ich das leider vergessen)
#2: Draw the windows with a pencil, then stamp (first the hats, then mask them with masking paper, then stamp the monster (I forget that for the first monster on the right)

#3: Alle Monster und Hüte wurden mit Masking Paper abgeklebt
#3: All monsters + hats have been masked with masking paper

#4: Blending! Mit Distress Inks und Sponge Daubern werden leicht verlaufende Hintergründe geblendet.

#8: Füllen! Mit Glitter und verschiedenen Sequins. Unten sieht man schon das vorbereitete Shaker-Fenster, aus zwei Lagen Moosgummi und einem Fenster aus Klarsichtfolie.

Die Cut Happy - girlish + boyish

Hey Ihr Lieben, 

Ich hoffe euch gehts allen gut, auch wenn heute ja mal wieder Montag ist..

Heute habe ich einen (für meine Verhältnisse) etwas besonderen Post, ich habe nämlich das Wochenende dazu genutzt, zwei recht ähnliche Karten zu werkeln. Die eine ist mehr so die Mädchen-Ausgabe, die andere find ich würde auch für einen Mann gehen.

Vor ein paar Tagen hat mich mal wieder ein wunderbares Päckchen von der Stempelküche erreicht, und unter anderem waren darin die wunderschönen "Happy" Die Cuts von Avery Elle und Mama Elephant drin. Die hab ich dann auch gleich für die heutigen Karten verwendet.

Und weil ich die beiden wirklich gerne mag, schreib ich euch hier mal recht genau, wie ich das so gemacht habe ;)

Für die erste, die Mädchen-Karte, habe ich für den Hintergrund Distress Inks in Aged Mahagony und Seedless Preserves mit viel Wasser vermalt. Das "Happy" von Mama Elephant habe ich dann aus Kork ausgestanzt. Das "Birthday" habe ich mit dem Lawn Fawn Set "Violet's ABC" gestempelt.

Zum Verzieren habe ich dann noch Glossy Accents, ein paar Sequins und winzig kleine gestanzte Kork Herzen verwendet. Zum Schluss gabs oben noch eine kleine Schleife dazu.

Für die "Männerversion" habe ich einen bisschen "wilderen" Wasserfarben Hintergrund mit Distress Inks Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn und Evergreen Bow gemalt. Das Avery Elle "Happy" habe ich aus wunderschönem Kirsch-Holzpapier gestanzt, und dazu noch 5 oder 6 mal in dunkelgrün, damit ich einen richtig schön dicken Die Cut bekomme :)

Das "Birthday" hab ich hier auch wieder mit dem Set "Violet's ABC" gestempelt.

Zum Verzieren gabs hier wieder Glossy Accents, und außerdem Enamel Dots in grau und dunkelgrün. Zum Schluss hab ich noch einen dünnen schwarzen Rahmen um die Karte gemalt.

Mein Favorit ist die grüne Karte, die mag ich (sorry Eigenlob) echt gerne :)

hope you are all fine and have a great time (although its Monday again :) ).

Today I have a quite special post, because at the weekend, I created two cards of nearly the same type - watercolour background, happy-die cut, same birthday stamp...

I received a wonderful parcel from the great Stempelküche a few days ago, containing many great things. I've ordered two "happy" dies, one by Mama Elephant and one by Avery Elle.

For my first card (the girlie style), I created a background using Distress Inks Aged Mahagony and Seedless Preserves. Then I die cut the Mama Elephant happy from some cork. The "birthday" was stamped with the beautiful "Violet's ABC" by Lawn Fawn. I've added some eye catchers using my glossy accents, sequins and also some die cutted mini hearts. For the finishing touch, I've also added some braun twine at the top.

For the second one, which I call the "boyish one", I created a bit "wilder" watercolor background using Distress Inks Pine Needless, Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bow. I die cut the Avery Elle happy from some cherry wood paper, and also die cut it (i think) 5 or 6 times from dark green card, so I was able to glue it all together and get one thick layer. The birthday sentiment was again stamped with the "Violet's ABC" stamps set. For the decoration, I used again glossy accents and this time also some enamel dots in greys + dark green. I also created some tiny stars in the same way as I did for the happy die cut. For finish, I draw some black lines around the card.

My favorite is the green one, I really like it.
