Christmas glitter

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

hier bin ich wieder, mit einer Weihnachtskarte, die ich euch gerne zeigen wollte.
Ich habe dazu eine der vielen tollen Schneeflocken-Stanzen von Simon Says benutzt, und kupferfarbenes Glitzerpapier gestanzt.

Ich hoffe das Ergebnis gefällt euch.

today I like to Show you another Christmas Card, which I made using one of the many great snowflake dies from Simon Says and cut out the flake from copper colored glitter paper.

Oh Happy Day - I'm Back!

Hallo Ihr Lieben, 

kennt ihr mich noch? Leider hat sich die Pause hier auf meinem Blog doch vieel länger gezogen als eigentlich geplant. Nach meinen Abschlussprüfungen ging das Jahr erstmal noch turbulent weiter, sodass ich in den letzten Monaten leider so gut wie gar nicht an meinem Schreibtisch war. Und falls doch mal, reichte die Zeit nie, das Ergebnis auch noch ins Netz zu stellen.

Jetzt ist soweit wieder alles normal, und ich plane und hoffe, dem Blog wieder Leben einzuhauchen. Wäre doch schade, wenn er zu sehr verstaubt, oder nicht?

Zum Wieder-Einstieg mag ich euch heute eine Karte zeigen, die Freunde diesen Sommer zu Ihrer Hochzeit bekommen haben.

Der Hintergrund ist mit Distress Inks gestaltet, der Spruch mit Moosgummi ausgestanzt.

Ich hoff euch gefällt die Karte und ihr hattet auch sonst ein bisschen Spaß hier, sodass ihr mir die Pause verzeiht :)

Do you still know me? I'm so sorry for the long long leave, but this summer turned out quiet crazy and busy, so I wasn't able to visit my desk often the last months, and if I got the chance, I didn't had the time to show the things here.

But now im back and I plan (and hope) to fill this blog with happiness again :)

For the first post, I've chosen a card I made for a friend's wedding this summer.

The background was watercolored with distress inks and the die cut is from foam.

Challenge up your life #8 - Rainbow

Hey Ihr Lieben, 

da bin ich wieder, und jaaa, es ist wieder so weit, eine neue Challenge bei Challenge up your life! Das letzte mal musste ich leider zeitbedingt aussetzen, aber dieses mal bin ich wieder dabei, und versuche euch mit meinem Beitrag ein klitzekleines bisschen zu inspirieren!

Unser Thema für die nächsten beiden Wochen lautet: 

Wie schön oder? Als glühende Laura BassenVerehrerin liebe ich natürlich auch alles, was mit Regenbogen-Farben zu tun hat. 

Bei mir gibts heute einen bunten Hintergrund, den ich mit meinen Sponge-Daubern und einer Schablone gezaubert hab. Den supersüßen Fuchs von Some Odd Girl habe ich mit Inktense Stiften coloriert, und bin danach mit einem Wassertankpinsel darübergegangen, damit die Farben schön verlaufen.

So, und jetzt bin ich wieder rieeesig gespannt auf eure tollen Ideen! Zeigt uns was ihr könnt und verlinkt Eure Werke bis zum 19. Februar.

Zuvor schaut aber unbedingt auch noch bei den anderen, unglaublich talentierten Mädels aus dem Designteam vorbei, das dürft ihr nicht verpassen!

 Hey there,
It's me again and yeah, today starts another Challenge over at Challenge up your life! I wasn't able to take part at the last one, but now, I really want to try to inspire you for the new one!
The topic for the next two weeks is Rainbow!
As you know, I'm such a big fan of Laura Bassen's creations, for sure, I love everything in rainbow colors, too :)
So for my card, I used a stencil and my beloved sponge daubers to create this colorful background.
The super-sweet fox from Some Odd Girl was colored with Inktense pencils and a waterbrush.

And now, I'm totally excited to see all of your ideas! Show us what you can do and link up your creations until February 19th!

Confetti happy with Simon Says Stamp and Mama Elefant

Hey Ihr Lieben,
tut mir so leid dass ich im Moment so wenig hier zeigen kann, in der Arbeit gehts immer noch richtig rund.. Aber heute zeige ich euch eine Karte, die ich am letzten Wochenende fertiggebracht habe. Ich hab letztens eine wunderbare Lieferung von Simon Says Stamp erhalten, und da war unter anderem auch die Schablone "Falling Snow" mit drin. Im Moment bin ich aber echt so gaaar nicht im Weihnachtskarten Fieber (ist glaub ich einfach noch nicht lange genug her :) , sodass ich überlegt habe, was ich sonst mit der Schablone machen könnte. Die Lösung - Konfetti Regen! Yeah!!
Also hab ich meine Strukturpaste und einige bunte Distress Inks (ich glaube es waren Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers und Mowed Lawn???) ausgepackt und erstmal schön miteinander vermischt und anschließend auf den Cardstock geschmiert. Das wunderbare Happy-Die Cut von Mama Elephant habe ich diesmal aus türkisem Moosgummi ausgeschnitten.

Die Karte macht bei diesen beiden Challenges mit:

so sorry for being here rarely, I have a quite rough time at work at the moment.. but today, I'd love to show you a card a managed to finish last weekend :)
I got some wonderful new supplies from Simon Says Stamp the other week, and I just could't wait to try theme. Among a few others, I got the great "Falling Snow" Stencil. But at the moment, I'm just not in the mood for anymore christmas cards. So, I was thinking of what I could do else with this stencil - answer: Confettis! Yeah ;)
So I took out my embossing paste and mixed it up with some of my Distress Inks (I think it was Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn??) and smeared it onto the cardstock. For the absolutely beautiful "Happy" die cut I just foam in aqua/teal.

Challenge up your life #6 - Washi Tape

Hey Ihr Lieben,

wow, schon wieder sind zwei Wochen rum, und deswegen startet heute wieder eine wunderbare Challenge bei "Challenge up your life" :)

Ich freu mich! Unser Thema lautet diesmal "Washi".

Washi, ja das ist immer sowas, ich hab des öfteren meine liebe Not damit, muss ich gestehen...

Es ist sooo schön anzusehen, und (wie bei den meisten Bastelsachen) könnte ich nie genug davon haben, aber bei der Verwendung haperts dann ein bisschen. Da gehts mir in etwa so wie mit Pattern Paper...

Auf den ersten Blick sieht meine Karte nicht nach wirklich viel Washi aus, aber ich war fleißig und hab es ein bisschen versteckt! Sowohl der Schriftzug als auch die Banner wurden aus mit Washi beklebtem Cardstock ausgestanzt! Ha! Wer hätte das gedacht! 

Für den Hintergrund hab ich erst ganz softe Grüntöne gewählt, und danach begann das Spritz-Massaker. Vielleicht wäre hier ein bisschen weniger mehr gewesen, aber nun gut.

So, jetzt seid ihr dran, zeigt uns, wie ihr euer Washi am schönsten in Szene setzt!

wow, again, two weeks are over and we are starting a new challenge over at "Challenge up your life" today! I'm so excited! Our topic is "Washi".

Yeah, that Washi-Thing, always the same... I just looove to look at it (and buy it) but I often have a hard time using it.. just the same as with the pattern paper..

For the first look, it seems I didn't use too much Washi at this card. But I was busy and hid it! The sentiment as well as the banners were cut out of cardstock, which was covered with Washi! Ha! How knew!

For the background, first a did a soft green tone color wash. After that, I startet my "splatter-massacre". Maybe less would have been more, but who cares!

Now its your turn again! Show us, which great thing you can do with your washi!

Birthday Garland - Challenge up your life #2 Banner / Garland / Wreath

Hallo Ihr Lieben, 

hier bin ich auch mal wieder, und zur Abwechslung auch mal wieder mit was anderem als einer Weihnachtskarte ;) 

Das war mal wieder eine Auftrags-Geburtstagskarte. Ich habe, ohne dran zu denken dass das ja unser aktuelles Challenge-Thema ist, eine Karte mit einem schönem Banner von Simon Says Stamp gemacht. Die Girlande und die Schrift mag ich gerne, was mir echt im Weg umgeht, ist der Schmetterling. Da hat einfach nix gepasst, und jetzt ist er eben da, aber gefallen tut er mir nicht...hmpff..sowas ist echt nervig. Naja...

Zeigt uns dass ihr es besser könnt als ich und macht mit bei unserer aktuellen Challenge! Ihr habt noch Zeit bis nächsten Mittwoch, um eure Werke zu verlinken.

I'm back again and -surprise- no Christmas card today :)
This is another ordered birthday card.
Without thinking of our actual challenge at Challenge up your life, I've created a card with a banner from Simon Says Stamp :) I really like the garland and the sentiment, but I really dislike the butterfly.
I don't know what happened here, nothing was right at this place and now the butterfly is there, but I don't think it looks good... aargh.. that's really annoying...
So show us that you can make it better than me and join us at the actual challenge! You'l have time until next Wednesday to link up your projects!

Lovely Christmas - Stempelküche Challenge #6

Hey alle Zusammen,

hier bin ich wieder, mit der ersten Karte, bei der ich genäht habe! *so stolz* hihi...
Naja, ich weiß, es ist nicht wahnsinnig außergewöhnlich, aber immerhin. Ich hab das auch gaanz altmodisch mit der Hand gemacht, ich hab nämlich so eine Urangst vor Nähmaschinen.. da hab ich immer so ein schreckliches Bild vor Augen, nämlich Nadel durch meinen Finger, und nein, das will ich wirklich nicht. Also lieber langweilig aber sicher ;)
Mit dieser Karte würde ich gerne bei der aktuellen Stempelküche-Challenge mitmachen, dieses Mal gibt es nämlich eine Farb-Vorgabe.

Eher ungewöhnlich für eine Weihnachtskarte, aber was hilfts, der Bestand muss dringend aufgestockt werden :)

Inspiriert hat mich dazu die wunderbare Heather Campbell, mit dieser tollen Karte *klick*

I'm finally back with the first card, where I did some stitching on! *so proud* hehe..
Ok, I know, it's not really such a great thing, but ok. I did it really old-fashioned by hand, because sewing-machines scare me.. I always have the horrible picture in my mind, with a needle through my finger,.. and no, I really don't want that! So better boring but safe ;)

I like to take part at the actual Stempelküche-Challenge, which has a color challenge this time.

These colors aren't the most traditional ones for christmas, but I can't help, I still need many more cards for christmas.

I was inspired by the wonderful Heather Campell, she did this great card *click*

A really lovely christmas wish

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

hier bin ich endlich mal wieder :) Die letzten Tage hat leider mein neuer Laptop nicht so gewollt wie ich, aber dank meines lieben Bruders klappts jetzt wieder.

Heute mag ich euch eine Weihnachtskarte zeigen, die ich am Wochenende gewerkelt habe. Leider bin ich darauf nicht allein gekommen, die wunderbare Cristina von My Paper Journey hat sowas hier gemacht, und ich fand das so toll, dass ich es auch unbedingt ausprobieren wollte.

Dafür habe ich endlich auch mal meine wunderbaren Schneeflocken Stanzen von Simon Says Stamp ausprobieren können, ich finde sie absolut toll!

Das schöne Holz-Optik Pattern Paper ist von My Mind's Eye.

I'm finally back, after struggling a few days with my new laptop. Luckily, my dear brother solved the problems :)
Today I like to show you a card, I made on the last weekend. Unfortunately, it wasn't my own idea, but the great Cristina from My Paper Journey showed this beautiful card at her blog, and I was so thrilled, I just had to create a similar one.
Also I was finally able to try out this absolutely gorgeous snowflake dies by Simon Says Stamp. Aren't they just great?
The beautiful "wood" pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye.
