Trim the Tree

So, und hier jetzt auch endlich die erste Karte!

Auch wenns ja schon zu spät ist, werde ich euch in der nächsten Zeit noch einige Weihnachtskarten zeigen, aber ich finde sowieso, dass Weihnachtskarten immer am meisten Spaß machen (und in 12 Monaten ist es ja auch schon wieder so weit).

 Basis dafür war eine olivfarbene Karte (leider sieht es auf dem Bild eher bräunlich aus), auf die ich mit einer Tim Holtz Schablone und Moonlight White von Brilliance gestempelt habe.

Ist der Baum nicht wunderhübsch? Ich liebe die Stempel von Stacey Yacula für Purple Onion Designs, aber das werdet ihr bald merken :)

Der Baum wurde reich mit Perlen und Strass Steinen verziert und mit Copics coloriert, dann noch der Textstempel mit Perfect Pearls verziert, und fertig ist eine einfache, aber wie ich finde hübsche One Layer Card.

And finally, the first card I want to show you!

So thats one oft my Christmas cards from this year, and I'm sure it won't be the last one I'll show you, also it's already too late, but in my opinion it's so much fun to create christmas cards! (and also, in only 12 months, christmas is here again!)

Based on a olive coloured card (which looks in the photo almoust like a brown), I stamped the dots with the Tim Holtz stencil 'dot fade' and white ink from Brilliance Dew Drop. Don't you think the tree is marvellous? I love the stamps from Stacey Yacula, designed for Purple Onion Designs, but you're going to see it in the future on my blog :)

I trimmed the tree rich with pearls and jewels and coloured it with copics, then I just put some Perfect Pearls onto the stamped sentiment, and a simple but I think beautiful one layer card is finished.
